Chartered Physiotherapist – MSc BSc HCPC MCSP

I graduated from DIBNS in India in 2019 with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy and moved to the UK to further my studies, graduating with a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Nottingham. I am a member of The Health and Care Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

I currently work in the NHS and regularly see patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and diseases. I enjoy utilising my clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment procedures to formulate and deliver individual physiotherapy treatment programmes. These are based on sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options. I am also very capable of forming well-founded prognoses and recommending best courses of action, as well as creating negotiated goals that lead to thorough discharge plans.

My MSc studies enhanced my clinical history-taking and examination skills to enable accurate diagnoses in individuals with musculoskeletal injuries or illness, and for those who would like to exercise, or for whom exercise would be beneficial. I take a holistic approach to patient care and understand the specific physical attributes required to participate in a variety of sports. I promote the highest level of ethical standards within sport by contributing to sporting organisations and teams, and have covered several county football matches, including Nottinghamshire U18 Vs Derbyshire U18 T20. I have also worked as part of the Medical Team in The Montane Lakeland 50 & 100.

I enjoy promoting improvements in public health through encouraging physical activity and exercise in the general population and my interest in sport led me to achieve the Football Association (FA) Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF) in July 2021.

I have worked regularly in private practice during my masters studies and thoroughly enjoyed getting the experience of working with private patients. My aim has always been to work hard and watch patients and athletes healing physically and mentally. I am extremely grateful to be a part of the Square One Team, which gives me the opportunity to provide help and service to the local community, and to the best of my ability.
