Soft Tissue Therapist – LSSM (Dip) MISRM
When I was younger, I used to try to play any and every sport I could, and very quickly I learnt that all the sports I enjoyed the most required a high level of fitness to perform well at. That’s when I got into more sports performance training in the gym, and through that, I also learnt that mobility work and soft tissue care was vital, not just for sports performance, but also for recovery, reducing injury risk, and improving quality of life outside of sports and training.
Being a Level 5 Soft Tissue Therapist has given me the knowledge to help with many different musculoskeletal issues. It has also allowed me to help people from all walks of life, from your every day regular person, to Great British level athletes, and everyone in-between! I love helping people move and feel better, as well as feel stronger and more confident, which is why I have been in this industry for this long. I am positive that I will never leave.
My sporting patients say that one of my main strengths as a Soft Tissue Therapist is that I can understand the athletic requirements for their sport and apply my knowledge to help them learn about how they can move better. I tailor treatment sessions so patients walk away with more than just feeling great, but also with a “road map” to improving their own performance using self care techniques and highlighting the importance of mobility work.
I’m proud to be a part of the Square One Team and look forward to helping you move with more freedom, and living a better quality of life no matter your background.
